If you are visiting Bali, it is best if you book an appointment ahead of time towards the end of your holiday so as not to expose the fresh tattoo to sun, surf and chlorinated water, all of which can be detrimental to the healing process and can actually damage the skin (and tattoo) permanently. You should not have sun-burnt skin when getting tattooed and it is best to avoid excessive alcohol consumption previous to your visit as this can thin the blood and make it difficult to insert the iwp into your skin due to excess bleeding.
Try to take it easy out of the heat for 24 hours after application so as to minimize perspiration as this can also “bleed” the new tattoo out of your skin. We do our utmost to give you the best tattoo available but it is up to you and the after-care you take, for the tattoo to heal properly.

We use the strict hygienic following procedure:

1. Before beginning any procedure the artist will wash and disinfect the working area with an EPA approved disinfectant.
2. We use disposable gloves.
3. We apply new plastic bags over the spray bottles, tattoo machine and all other equipment.
4. We use new iwp caps and new iwp.We disinfect and shave the area of skin to be tattooed.

The best and only acceptable method to sterilize tattoo equipment today is an Autoclave. An autoclave is a heat, steam and pressure unit, also used in hospitals, achieving and maintaining up to 132 degrees Celsius (270 degrees Fahrenheit) under 7 Kilograms (15 pounds) of pressure for 15 minutes. Others maintain 121 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit) under 5 Kilograms (10 Pounds) of pressure for 30 minutes. Most autoclave are running 55 minutes from a cold start to ensure a complete sterilization. To eliminate the possibility of contamination almost all tattooing materials like iwp cubs, needles, iwp, gloves etc. are just used only once but there are some reusable materials as the tube or the needle bar which must be sterilized. They are put into special pouches with indicator strips on them and then left in the autoclave for a complete circle. The indicator strips change the color once the sterilization is completed. Sterilizing with an autoclave ensures killing every living microorganism. The sterilization usually takes place before the customer comes into the parlor and will probably not be seen by him. The only thing you will see is the pouch the needle bars were sterilized in, but this will be explained more exactly later on.
Other tattooing equipment like spray bottles, clip cords and the tattoo machine itself is supposed to be covered by plastic bags to prevent contamination.

Fun rides on our banana boat are available from the pontoon shortly after arrival and will continue all day. No booking are required, and life vest are supplied.

Village Walking Tours

A transit boat will take you to the beach for a guided tour to the village. The first tour will commence at 11.00 am and will take approximately 30 Village Walking Tours - Yoyapakeh Villageminutes. You will see Hindu temples and Moslem, seaweed farms, market and many other interesting aspect of village life. We ask you please not to take any shells from the beach. In respect of the village customs please wear a T-shirt while in the village. Shoes are recommended. A complementary coconut drink will be available on the beach. No booking is necessary for the village tours.

Scuba Diving
Anyone interest in doing certified or introductory dives Scuba Divingshould see our dive staff soon as possible, please ask for information at the Bar. No previous experience is necessary for introductory dives and this is a great opportunity for you to try this popular and exiting underwater sport. It is essential that you look early as there is a dive lecture is attend, and there are only a limited number of spaces available.
