After Victoria Beckham decided to pull out of anticipated Spice
Girls reunion in honour of the 2012 Olympics, Geri Halliwell was not the
only member left disappointed…“The rest of the girls all wanted the Olympics gig,” reveals an insider. “They need the money and the increased profile, but Victoria doesn’t. She felt like she did the last Spice Girls tour as a favour to the other girls and she made it very clear at the time it was the end of the road for her.
Her fashion line has done so well that the last thing she’d do is jeopardised it by being attached to a girl band again.”
Although Victoria hosted an informal dinner in UK over Christmas for the girls – which Mel B was not invited to after a heated row between the pair.
baby Spice Emma Bunton is the only band mate left who has not fell out with feisty straight talking Mel B.
Emma, Mel B, and Melanie C are all very upset over the scrapped reunion, while Geri is the only one left hurt by Victoria’s instant dismissal and rejection.
Our source adds: “The only one Victoria is still on good terms with is Emma Bunton because she’s so sweet-natured and doesn’t ever get involved in feuds.”
